Hemlock trail is an old service road/logging road that connects the campground and the Twin Falls area. Almost all downhill when ridden
from the campground towards the Twin Falls area. It's pretty reasonable grade, and would
not be a bad ride in the opposite direction. The trailhead is behind the campground store.
From the campground, head down the hill through fast, wide trail and
what could be some Big Air Jumps if you like hang time. You won't be doing much pedaling
as you continue down hill as fast as your heart desires. Before long you'll arrive at a
low, swampy area with a large drainage rut crossing the trail. You can ride across thing,
but not just anywhere. It might be worth a stop to check it out. The rut is partially
hidden by grass and weeds. Some rocks have been placed to smooth the line, but I couldn't
see them as I approached.
From here it levels out a little for the short distance to the
intersection with the Nature Trail.
I'd like to hear your feedback on these trail reviews.
