The Nature Trail is a two mile loop that starts and stops from the same parking area. It's on the right as you drive in from the entrance towards the lodge. As you stand in the parking lot facing the woods, there are two trail head signs. I'm going to describe it as ridden taking the RIGHT trailhead. It's much more fun this way.

From the parking area, take the RIGHT trailhead and head into one of the most fun stretches of trail I can remember. It's a hardpacked slalom course through the trees down the hill. Tires seem to stick like glue here. The corners are fast and seem to accelerate you. It's over way too soon as you come to the intersection with the Falls Trail. There's a steep 3 - 4 drop from the Nature Trail onto the Falls Trail.

The Falls Trail and Nature Trail are one and the same here. Follow the Falls Trail to the left. You'll soon arrive at the intersection where the Nature Trail branches off to the left.

Riding on, you'll come to the intersection with the Hemlock Trail on the right.. You can see the golf course from here. Ride out along the edge of the golf course, then turn left into the woods across the small wooden bridge. You'll see the Nature Trail heading off into the woods. From here back to the parking lot (about 1 mile) it's gradual climbing with a few steeper sections thrown in. As a matter of fact, one of the steeper sections is the final ascent to the parking lot. Challenging but not too brutal.
