Overview

Twin Falls turned out to be a Mountain Biking surprise! After arranging for an overnight visit to Twin Falls, thinking mostly of hiking, I checked out their web page and learned that all hiking trails are open to mountain biking. Great! I'll take my bike and check it out, I thought. I've ridden in WV for several years, and I've heard of Twin Falls numerous times, but never heard the words "Twin Falls" and "Mountain Biking" in the same sentence. This place was a real treat! The facilities and scenery are excellent, the trails are well marked and maintained, and support a variety of skill levels and trail conditions. From flat, fast, and smooth to rocky, knarly, and technical, it's here.

None of the trails is super long. In fact, the longest trail is about  4 miles. Many of the trails intersect; it's easy to link several trails into one ride, without spending too much time on the pavement.

The camping facilities are first rate, with hot showers, a camp store, and lots of shaded sites near the trails.
